I am very sad. I've decided I have to quit entirely. Time is not my friend at the moment* and with the increased activity requirements I've started to find keeping up with the game stressful, which kind of defeats the point. I've loved playing here, it's one of the best games ever, and I'll miss it. If anyone wants to do any slow PSLs, just poke me. Sorry to everyone I'm leaving in the lurch here :-( It hurts me more than it hurts you. Let me know if you want to finish off any of the scenes/journal comment threads I'm in. *I'm working Monday-Wednesday (leave the house 6.30am, return home 7.30pm), in uni on Thursday-Friday, and doing assignments at the weekend. Add personal shit and RP is my escape.

Okiez lovely ladies! Come tomorrow I will need your best tearstain graphics/resources, as for some reason I haven't accumulated any myself. ANNNDDDD guess for which character? Come on, you know the answer to this one.

Just wanted to let you all know that going on semi-hiatus for time being. I'll definitely still finish off threads and be around for plot and stuff. But at the moment (though not able to go to the doctor yet) looks like I've got the same pneumonia thing I had a couple months ago... or like the bronchitis thing I had earlier this year (not fun at all)... and basically my energy (and general wheeziness and crackleiness of my chest) is just bleh, especially with going to school. so yeah concentration levels are just pbbfffftt atm.

So as for my kiddlywinks:

Miles has training and he's still o.O at Tamsin doing complete tidy of the kitchen. So yes more training for him, out drinking .... and yeah fun flat times.

Parvati has school. She's like yay. Will likely hang out with Dean and Lisa... ...a lot.

Astoria has her prefect duties and school work... I imagine Wesley will no doubt have riled her up about something else in the mean time... and yeah... (she needs to get a boyfriend cause THAT would be HILARIOUS).

So yeah... will still be around for the threads I have and can still contact me at lalla.belle@gmail.com for plot or whatever.

Elle here with a reminder that you've got about a week to get your tracks into me. I have been updating the track assignment list when I received things. That can be found here.

Also! There are three yet to be claimed tracks so if you're interested please sign up for one of them! (23, 31, 34) THERE IS ONE TRACK LEFT and I cannot claim it because it's one of my kids...well, I could but it just wouldn't be as awesome. All set.

And lastly, if anyone wants to vote on a sort of theme song for May 02 the choices are under ( this cut )

The first time around I'd kind of put it to the side and focused on my characters more. So here goes Round 2.

I'm collecting info for the Diagon Alley Shopping District so that eventually we can put up a page as part of world building stuff. This would give people more settings for threads and such that are set in DA. Examples being that your character might go to the theatre or maybe they end up working for a publisher. Many many possibilities.

What does this mean? Well, if your character or their family owns a business/whatever that happens to be in Diagon Alley I would like you to reply to this post with the following:

• Name of business obvs
  
• A blurb about the business eg: what it sells, maybe how long it's been in business, any info you think is important for folk to know etc. Please try and keep the blurb 100 words or less, otherwise it warps the table coding too much. :D
  
• And name of owner and any staff (especially if it happens to be where your character works)

If you're curious as to how it'll look, you can see an example here. And eventually have a menu so that it can jump to a particular section and then a 'back to top' button at the end of each section to make browsing it all easier.

Though the more important thing is to gather the info first :D

Just so you know, Laura got an owl from her father on Friday afternoon and is now at home. I've been busy with university applications and other fun stuff and haven't quite finished my log with Julie, but details will soon be coming here.

so with a week to go, and trying to kick my brain into gear... this is me checking in for my log challenges.

Parvati|Laura - I think we sort of said something about Laura in a prefectly capacity catching Parvati out or something. I personally vote for Laura catching her snogging someone, cause yay for awkwardness. Any volunteers who want to snog Parvati?
Astoria|Wayne - Just needs to be started/completed. Alison, still cool with using the Arithmancy assignment/library for the setting? Am cool with doing it in gdocs if that's easier for you.
Miles|Mary - This is the only one where i still haven't even figured out how they run into each other o.O

Also anyone have any ideas for what the job or career might be for two purebloods (Morag's parents)? I was thinking at least one for something Ministry, though don't know what. Except that it wouldn't be Magical Games and Sports Dept, cause Morag is like 'yeah not working with my mum/dad kthx'. Hmm... magical books publisher mebbe?

Halloween costumes! What is your character going as?

Laura will be Wendy Darling, Pace is following through on Su's suggestion and going as Agent J, and as Penelope's pretty good with these sorts of things, she's charming her costume to alternate between an angel and a devil.

Alright, so I have 41 characters signed up. So that means it's time for people to offer fills. How it works is you post a comment with a number between 1 and 41 - or as many numbers as you want to fill. I will then PM you what characters that translates to. If you picked your own character, I will ask you pick another number.

You can fill as many as you would like.

After you get your assignment, you will then have to pick one song that represents that character. When you have the song please send it to me (rushed_words@yahoo.com) however you would like - attached file, link to an upload, youtube video. Songs should be turned in by 15 November (if not sooner).

If you need any help with this please let me know and I'll be happy to lend a hand on the technical stuff. I will also be indicating on this list if I have received your tracks.
